Put Your café On The Map
Placing your science café on the sciencecafes.org map will help people find out about it, including potential attendees, potential presenting scientists, other café organizers, and members of the press.
To be listed on the sciencecafes.org map, a science café MUST:
- Be open to the general public
- Include at least one scientist presenting at each session
- Be part of an ongoing series
- NOT be engaged in any type of fundraising or political or religious advocacy.
To put your science café onto the sciencecafes.org map e-mail us with the following information:
- The name of your science café
- The Web address you would like us to link to (see below if you do not have a Web page)
- The physical address you would like us to refer to (please verify that this address works with google maps) http://maps.google.com/maps
- The name, e-mail, and phone number of the principle contact for the café.
You may be contacted for more information prior to placing your café on the map.

Get a Free Dedicated Web Page For Your café
If you do not have a Web presence for your science café, you may set up a web page at sciencecafes.org. This is a free service, open to any science café that meets the criteria above. To begin this process please e-mail us.
Please bear in mind that only information pertaining to science café meetings can be posted in this way. It is the responsibility of the café to provide up to date information in the correct format. Submitted text is screened prior to posting, and information related to the following types of activities is excluded:
- Information not related to a science café
- Fundraising activity
- Political or religious advocacy
